Dr. Mundo is extremely tanky and has excellent sustain. He will rush straight into enemies to attack, sticking until he destroys them. Dr. Mundo is strong against champions that deal magic damage and seems to be immortal thanks to his healing ability.
So how to counter Dr. Mundo in Wild Rift? This is a question I asked 2 years ago.
I researched and learned that Dr. Mundo is weak in the early game, afraid of grievous wounds and is susceptible to kiting. You just need to rely on these things to counter him. If you want more clarity, please see my sharing below.
Champion Counter Dr. Mundo

Top
At Top, keep minions near the map on your side. Dr. Mundo can farm minions under towers easily, don’t let him do that.
Request jungle support to gank Dr. Mundo. The early game is the weakest stage of Dr. Mundo, do everything you can to make him fall behind.
Learn to dodge Mundo’s Infected Bonesaw or stay behind minions.
At level 5, Dr. Mundo will look to trade more. You shouldn’t fight him alone because Dr. Mundo has good recovery ability thanks to his ultimate.
Jungler
You should only fight Dr. Mundo when he has low health. Don’t fight him when he has high health after level 5.
At level 5, Dr. Mundo will look to gank more with his ultimate. Try to delay this by invading him and stealing his resources.
Take control of the dragon area to ensure that Dr. Mundo did not destroy it early.
Mid
Please poke and harass Dr. Mundo from afar. Use control skills to capture and quickly destroy him with your teammates.

When ganked by Mundo, try to avoid Infected Bonesaw.
Use champions and items that reduce healing to counter Mundo’s passive and ultimate. Ignite will reduce Mundo’s healing so make sure you ignite him as soon as you fight.
Infected Bonesaw can be blocked by minions.
Using CC skills is the best way to counter Mundo. You can activate them to prevent Mundo’s ultimate in combat.
Do not fight Mundo after level 5 if you are not sure of beating him.
