How to play:
Annie is a mid-lane mage. She has a great laning phase, she can play passive and stay back whilst last hitting minions with her Disintegrate.
With Annie, the most important thing you need to keep track of is how many stacks you have on your Passive, Pyromania. This is shown just underneath your mana bar. When Annie gets her Ultimate, Summon: Tibbers, it’s best to wait until you have 3 stacks of your passive so you can use Molten Shield and then quickly follow that up with her Ultimate for the area of effect to stun. This is amazing during team fights or when trying to pick off an enemy walking by themselves.
Annie’s Abilities
(Passive) Pyromania
After casting 4 abilities, the next offensive ability (1st, 2nd or Ultimate) stuns enemies hit for just over a second. You can tell how many stacks you are on by looking underneath the mana bar of Annie.
Once the bar turns purple, then your next ability will stun the enemy. This is what makes Annie strong. Being able to use your Ultimate (Tibbers) to get an AoE stun on the whole enemy team can win any fight and do a lot of damage.
(Skill 1) Disintegrate
Annie hurls a fireball that explodes in a small area, dealing magic damage. Killing an enemy refunds Disintegrate’s mana cost and halves its cooldown.
This ability is your main poking and damaging tool. You can use Disintegrate to last hit minions when farming in the lane, not only does it refund mana and reduce the cooldown, but it makes it a lot easier than just auto-attacking.
(Skill 2) Incinerate
Releases a cone of fire that deals magic damage to all enemies within it. This is a nice and quick ability to get your passive stun off if you don’t have your Ultimate.
You can use Flash as well to surprise the enemies and get a quick multi-person stun to help during a teamfight.
(Skill 3) Molten Shield
Shield yourself, Tibbers or an allied champion for a few seconds, absorbing damage. Enemies who attack the shield take magic damage. This ability does not consume the passive stun but it adds to the stack.
(Ultimate) Summon: Tibbers
Summons Tibbers, dealing magic damage to nearby enemies. For the next 30 seconds, Tibbers stays alive dealing magic damage, burning and attacking nearby enemies. You can also reactivate the ability to move Tibbers around.
Summon Tibbers has a slight delay when casting so it’s best to use this with your passive to surprise the enemy and try and get a big teamfight stun or just a single target stun to deal a lot of damage.
