How to play:

Ashe is a dragon lane attack damage carry. She does not deal a lot of damage compared to other dragon lane carries, however, she has a very unique kit available to her. She uses her abilities and auto attacks to slow and crowd control the enemies. When Ashe reaches level 5, she gets access to her ultimate, Enchanted Crystal Arrow, which is great at picking off enemies that are overextended and caught out by themselves. This ultimate also makes Ashe a great duelist as well, allowing her to win 1 vs 1 duels. Ashe can follow up her ultimate with her other abilities, Volley, Ranger’s Focus, and Frost Shot with auto attacks to slow targets.

Ashe’s Abilities

(Passive) Frost Shot

Attacks and damaging abilities slow targets hit for a few seconds. Attacks against enemies slowed by Frost Shot deal bonus damage. Ashe’s critical strikes do not deal extra damage. Instead, they increase Frost Shot’s slow.

Ashe does not have the best damage out, but is great in terms of crowd control and helping your team kill enemies.

(Skill 1) Ranger’s Focus

While Ranger’s Focus is not active, Ashe stores 2 Focus. Attacks grant an additional stack of Focus (up to 6). Stacks fall off one at a time. When activating Ranger’s Focus, for the next few seconds attacks consume a stack of Focus to fire with increased attack speed and barrage the target with a flurry of arrows for increased damage.

Ranger’s Focus does a lot of single-target damage when stacked up 6 times so most of the time you want to wait until the ability is fully stacked before activating it. Also, Ranger’s Focus is an auto-attack reset. Practice auto-attacking, using the 1st ability, then auto-attacking again. With this, you can do a lot of damage in a short amount of time.

(Skill 2) Volley

Ashe fires 5 arrows in a cone, dealing physical damage and slowing the enemies. Be careful when using Volley as minions and monsters can block the arrows. Enemies can block multiple arrows as well but only take damage once.

In the early levels, Volley is not that big but you can still use it during the laning phase to poke the enemies. As you level up the ability, the area of effect becomes larger and it’s a great tool to poke down the enemies.

When going in for a fight, make sure you use Volley first so you deal bonus damage when you auto-attack afterwards from your passive.

(Skill 3) Hawkshot

Fires a hawk spirit that can travel infinitely far and briefly reveals units it flies over. You can also recast the ability as it’s flying and Hawkshot explodes, granting vision of the area around it for a few seconds. Units caught in the initial explosion are revealed for a longer time.

This ability is a great tool to help your team get vision of important objectives especially later on. In the early game, you want to use this ability on the enemy red/blue buff to see where the jungle is so you can warn your team and play safe if you need to.

You can also use Hawkshot to reveal invisible enemies (e.g. Akali or Teemo), reveal wards and check brushes so your team doesn’t walk into blind vision.

(Ultimate) Enchanted Crystal Arrow

Ashe launches a crystal arrow of ice that stuns the first champion hit dealing magic damage to all nearby enemies. The stun increases with the distance of the arrow’s flight.

In Wild Rift, you can re-cast the ability by holding the button to steer the arrow’s flight path. The arrow can only deviate from its original launch angle by a fixed amount but it’s still really effective. You can also tap the cancel button to stop steering.

Ashe can still move while the arrow’s flight path is being controlled, but will automatically stop steering if she is struck with cast impairing crowd control effects.
