Braum’s Combo

Best combo for Braum:

Skill 2 -> Skill 3 -> Ultimate -> Skill 1 -> AA

Basic wilt Ultimate

Skill 1 -> Flash

This is a fairly difficult combo to proc perfectly, and you want to train it quite a bit before taking it into your ranked matches. It basically relies on you casting your Skill 1, and the moment you cast it, you quickly Flash over towards the enemy and increase the range of your Skill 1.

AA -> Skill 1 -> AA-> AA

This is the easiest of combos since it takes the utmost advantage of Braum’s passive. By using your Skill 1 together with the auto-attacks you basically ensure that the enemy is slowed down so they can’t escape.

Flash -> Ultimate -> Skill 1

This is one of the normal engages you can expect from Braum. You will take enemies by surprise by knocking them up with your ultimate, and then quickly follow up by Skill 1 because it will apply Braum’s passive, allowing allies to stun the enemies hit by the ultimate.

Skill 2 -> Skill 1 -> Flash -> Ultimate -> Skill 3 (towards your enemy)

This is a very difficult combo to pull off, but is a very fun one, especially once you master the champion. Basically, you will use Skill 2 to an ally, then Skill 1 and quickly Flash to redirect the skill’s hitbox onto an enemy. You can then follow up with your ultimate to knock the enemies up and slow them, and when they try to attack you’ll use your Skill 3 to mitigate incoming attacks.

Skill 2 -> Skill 3 -> Ultimate -> Skill 1

(Towards your ally or one of your minions that’s in front of the opponent)

How to play:

Braum is a tank support champion. He excels at staying back and protecting the team with his heavy crowd control. Unbreakable can blocks all incoming abilities and auto-attacks and Stand Behind Me gives an ally and yourself bonus resistances. Braum is really good at all stages of the game because of his defensive abilities and safe kit which allows him to survive and help the team.

Braum’s Abilities

(Passive) Concussive Blows

Braum’s attacks apply Concussive Blows for a few seconds. Once the first stack is applied, allied champions attacks also stack Concussive Blows. Upon reaching 4 stacks, the enemy is stunned for a second and takes magic damage.

Concussive Blows can be applied to multiple targets at once and you should always look to attack all enemies at least once to try and get as many stacks as possible, but don’t go too far away from your team or you might get caught out.

(Skill 1) Winter’s Bite

Braum launches ice that deals magic damage and slows enemies hit by 70% for a few seconds while applying a stack of Concussive Blows.

Winter’s Bite is great as a mini engage as it slows a lot and allows your team to catch up to the enemies. It’s also strong in the laning phase as it deals loads of damage when poking the enemies and it forces them to play safer because they have to be careful of your passive stacks.

(Skill 2) Stand Behind Me

Braum leaps to an ally, granting himself and his ally bonus armor and magic resist for a few seconds on arrival. This is Braum’s only mobility ability and allows him to escape dangerous situations. It also allows him to jump to the front line to engage with his team.
Braum can use Stand Behind Me to jump to minions if needed.

Most of the time you want to jump to your duo bot lane to help them get armour and magic resist, as it protects them against the enemy and you can also try and block skill shots aimed at them.

(Skill 3) Unbreakable

Braum raises his shield, intercepting projectiles for a few seconds, negating the first instance of damage from whichever direction he faces and taking reduced damage afterwards.

Braum also gains movement speed while his shield is raised.
When looking to engage you should always look to use his shield to block attacks and get movement speed to move around the fight easier. Even if he will still be affected by crowd control, his teammates around will not be affected.

(Ultimate) Glacial Fissure

Braum slams the ground and opens a fissure, dealing magic damage and knocking up enemies for a second. The fissure slows enemies and lasts a few seconds.

After the first enemy champion hit, subsequent enemies are knocked up for under a second. Glacial Fissure is a reliable engagement tool to start fights but it is also a good disengage tool as well because of the knock-up and slow.
