How to play:
Camille is a top lane fighter. She is not the best in the early game, but once you reach level 5 and have access to her Hextech Ultimatum, this allows her to lock down any champion on the enemy team to try and get a solo kill or use it in team fights to lock down a high-value target so the rest of her team can follow up. Camille also has insane 1 vs 1 potential and has great escape tools with Hookshot, making her a perfect split push champion.
Camille can also be played in the jungle, make sure to check the alternative build at the top of the page! The build is very similar to the top lane as most of the items work well with Camille’s abilities, however, you want to build more carry items like Trinity Force to help you clear the jungler faster and to be more impactful during ganks. With Camille jungle, you want to go Conqueror as the main rune to when ganking and grouping up during the big objectives fights.
Camille ‘s Abilities
(Passive) Adaptive Defenses
Attacking an enemy champion grants a shield that absorbs physical/magic damage for a few seconds. The shield type is based on the type of damage the attacked target deals. There is a little symbol next to enemy champions which shows when you have the passive available, red means you will get a physical shield and blue means you will get a magic shield.
The shield is really strong especially during the laning phase when you trade against the enemy champion. You will win most early game trades when you fight if your passive is up and available.
(Skill 1) Precision Protocol
Camille empowers the next attack to deal bonus physical damage and grant movement speed for a second. Prevision Protocol can then be recast within a few seconds. If the second Prevision Protocol hits a few seconds after the first, it deals true damage instead.
Most of the time you want to wait until you activate the 2nd part of the 1st ability so you can deal true damage.
This is Camille’s main source of damage. Both casts of Precision Protocol are auto attack resets so remember to do an auto-attack before you use your first ability.
(Skill 2) Tactical Sweep
Camille slices in a direction, dealing physical damage. Enemies hit by the outer half are slowed for a few seconds, take bonus physical damage and heals Camille for 100% of the bonus damage dealt to champions.
You can use Tactical Sweep to poke the enemy champion in the laning phase and you can combo Tactical Sweep well with Hookshot (3rd Ability) to get a lot of burst damage.
(Skill 3) Hookshot
This ability has 2 casts. First cast fires a Hookshot that attaches to terrain, pulling Camille to it. The second cast makes Camille dash from the wall, dealing physical damage on landing.
If the dash hits an enemy champion or large monster, they are stunned for a second and Camille gains bonus attack speed for a few seconds. This ability allows Camille to be very mobile so she can split push, engage and disengage easily.
(Ultimate) Hextech Ultimatum
Camille leaps to an enemy champion, dealing magic damage, knocking away other enemies and creating an inescapable zone for a few seconds.
Hextech Ultimatum ends when Camille leaves the zone. This ultimate is really good against mobile champions like Ezreal and Corki since they cannot use their abilities to escape.
