How to play:
Darius is a Baron Lane Bruiser. When playing Darius, it is important that you play around his passive, Hemorrhage, trying to get as many stacks as possible to be able to deal the most amount of damage with his auto attacks and abilities. Darius is a strong champion at all stages of the game, he does really well during team fights and can also split push when he is ahead.
Darius’s Abilities
(Passive) Hemorrhage
Attacks cause enemies to bleed, dealing physical damage over a few seconds and can be stacked up to 5 times. Upon reaching full stacks, Darius gains Noxian Might for a few seconds, gaining bonus attack damage and applying full stacks of Hemorrhage instead of 1.
This passive helps Darius out a lot during longer fights so don’t be scared when looking to go in and engage, because once you get full stacks you will deal a lot of damage.
(Skill 1) Decimate
Darius swings his axe around him after a delay dealing physical damage. Hitting enemies with the outer part of Decimate deals bonus physical damage and heals himself for each champion hit, applying Hemorrhage. It’s important to make sure you always hit enemy champions with the outer part of Decimate, so it’s best to use it when the enemies are crowd controlled or slowed.
(Skill 2) Crippling Strike
Empowers Darius’ next attack to deal additional physical damage and slow enemies for a second. This ability counts as an auto-attack reset, meaning when you auto attack you can activate the ability and it will attack straight away so the delay will be reduced.
(Skill 3) Apprehend
When you first get Apprehend, you gain a passive. The passive grants Darius armor penetration meaning that Darius doesn’t need armor penetration in his build. For the active Darius pulls in enemies in front of him, slowing them for a few seconds. This is Darius’ way to gap close. It helps Darius a lot when chasing down the enemies. You can combo Apprehend with Flash or Protobelt to surprise the enemy and increase the range of the pull.
(Ultimate) Noxian Guillotine
Darius leaps to execute a champion. He deals true damage and the damage is increased per Hemorrhage (Passive) stack. Killing the target with Noxian Guillotine refreshes its cooldown and grants Noxian Might for a few seconds, also causing nearby minions and monsters to flee for a few seconds.
This is Darius’ signature move. It’s really important to not use this Ultimate until right at the end when you know you have enough damage to kill the enemy with Noxian Guillotine. If you are able to get a kill, you can keep pushing forward to keep on getting kills and resets.
