How to play:

Fizz is a mid-lane magic damage assassin. He is a melee champion and can struggle a lot in the early game when trying to walk up and last hit minions. Once you get to level 5 and have access to Chum the Waters you can look to either try and solo kill the enemies mid laner or look to roam around the map with her aggressive playstyle.

Fizz’s Abilities

(Passive) Seastone Trident

Fizz’s attacks deal additional magic damage over a few seconds. This will help you when trying to last hit minions. The passive also deals more damage to monsters in the jungle. So if you are looking for a jungler with fast clear and a champion who is very mobile, then Fizz is the right champion for you!

(Skill 1) Urchin Strike

Fizz dashes through target enemies, dealing magic and physical damage. You can use Urchin Strike on minions to escape difficult situations. This works well especially during the laning phase.

Keep in mind that Urchin Strike can put you in a really bad position when used too aggressively on a champion. So think well before you use Urchin Strike when going forward.

(Skill 2) Rending Wave

Empowers Fizz’s next auto attack to deal magic damage and applies Seastone Trident (Passive). Additional attacks within 5 seconds after your first attack deals extra magic damage.

Killing a unit with the first attack reduces Rending Wave’s cooldown to 1 second. So it’s important to make sure you use Rending Wave every time you are about to last hit a minion.

(Skill 3) Playful Trickster

Fizz vaults to a target location, becoming untargetable while balanced on the trident. After just over a second, Fizz hops down with a large splash that deals magic damage and slows enemies hit for a few seconds.

You can also re-cast the ability to hop down early and in a direction you want to go, however, the damage you deal is lower and you don’t slow enemies.

Most of the time you want to use Playful / Trickster as a dodging/disengage tool so you can become untargetable when skill shots are flying towards you.

(Ultimate) Chum The Waters

Fizz launches a fish in target detection that attaches to the first champion hit. After a few seconds, a shark comes that knocks up its target and knock away enemies around them. The farther the fish travels, the larger the shark will be meaning it will deal more damage.

Chum the Waters also slows enemies hit and the slow will depend on how far the fish travels. Keep in mind that even if you don’t hit Chum The Waters, the shark will still pop up dealing damage and knocking enemies away in that area.
