Kayle’s Combo
Best combo for Kayle:
Kayle doesn’t have any signature combos that will give her a damage burst or anything like that. On the contrary – her main weapon is her auto attacks which get stronger as she stacks auto after auto.

How to play:
Kayle is a Baron Lane hyper carry that can build either AD or AP items to deal high amounts of damage. She struggles a lot in the early game because she starts the game as a melee fighter, however, the later the game goes and the more levels she gets, the stronger she becomes thanks to her Divine Ascent. Throughout the game, Kayle will evolve at Level 5, 10 and 15 making her stronger the later the game goes on. As long as you can survive the early game punishment of her being melee, you can scale and become a late-game carry for your team.
Kayle can also be played in the mid lane, make sure to check the alternative build at the top of the page! As Kayle mid, you play the same way as you do in Baron Lane. Both AD or AP build can work in either lane. You can adapt your build to see which one suits you and which one will have more impact on the game.
Kayle’s Abilities
(Passive) Divine Ascent
Level 1: Kayle starts as a melee fighter, attacks grant Attack Speed for a few seconds, stacking up to 5 times. Once you reach maximum stacks, Kayle also gains bonus Movement Speed. This is Kayle’s weakest form. In the laning phase, you need to stay back and play passive until you reach Level 5.
Level 5: Attack range is increased. You will still be quite weak at this stage of the game, but you will be able to farm a lot safer because your auto attacks will become ranged.
Level 10: Attacks fire waves of flame at max stacks, dealing the passive damage of Starfire Spellblade (3rd Ability). It’s important to make sure you stack your auto attacks before you get into a teamfight. This can be done on minions or monsters in the jungle. Once you reach 5 stacks your auto attacks will start to do Area of Effect (AOE) damage making them do a lot more damage.
Level 15: This is Kayle’s final form! Attack range is increased and the bonus from reaching max stacks becomes permanent. This means that every auto-attack will do AOE damage. At this point of the game, Kayle will be able to kill anyone that gets in her way.
(Skill 1) Radiant Blast
Kayle launches a celestial sword, dealing magic damage. Enemies hit are slowed for a few seconds and their armour and magic resistance are reduced. It’s important to make sure you use Radiant Blast before you are auto-attacking enemies. The reduced armour and magic resistance makes a significant difference and helps Kayle deal way more damage.
(Skill 2) Celestial Blessing
Kayle heals herself and an allied champion and grants them bonus movement speed for a few seconds. This helps Kayle in the early game if you take too much damage. In the late game, it’s important to keep your eyes peeled if your teammates are low on health, or you can speed up an ally to help them get on top of the enemy.
(Skill 3) Starfire Spellblade
This ability has a passive which gives Kayle’s attacks bonus magic damage. The active empowers her next attack to become ranged and deal bonus magic damage equal to a percentage of the target’s missing health.
In the early game, you can use this ability to last hit minions and poke the enemy champion since you start the game in melee form. As you get into the late game, Starfire Spellblade is used to deal a lot more damage and allows your auto attacks to deal AOE damage.
(Ultimate) Divine Judgment
Kayle grants invulnerability to an allied champion or herself for a few seconds. When Kayle activates her ultimate she is unable to auto-attack or use any other abilities so just keep that in mind when using your ultimate.
Once the duration is over, blades rain down around the target, dealing magic damage. Most of the time it’s better to use this ability on a front line tank so they can run into the enemy team so the blades can deal plenty of damage.
