Renekton’s Combo

Best combo for Renekton:

Skill 3 -> AA -> Skill 3

This combo is the most basic one, and it lets Renekton dive in and trade with the opponent and then dive out without any issues.

Skill 3 -> AA -> Skill 2 -> Skill 1 -> AA -> Skill 3

This combo works perfectly if you want to dash in and out and trade with an opponent. You can make great use of this before level 5, and if you manage to get your enemy low on HP you might even be able to secure a kill.

Flash -> Skill 2 -> AA -> Ultimate -> Skill 3 -> Skill 1 -> AA -> Skill 3

This would be one of Renekton’s all-in combos. You can probably win most 1v1 trades with this, since you can catch enemies by surprise and stun them, dealing quite a bit of damage in the process.

How to play:

Renekton is a top-lane fighter. He uses his mobility, tankiness and crowd control to get onto the enemy backline and kill their carries. Renekton is a powerful early game baron lane champion and with his high damage and sustain, he’s able to dominate in the early stages.

Renekton doesn’t have a mana bar, but instead has a Rage bar from his passive, Reign of Anger. This is the most important part of his kit so make sure you keep an eye on the Rage bar as if it is at 50% or higher, your abilities get more powerful.

Renekton’s Abilities

(Passive) Reign of Anger

Renekton doesn’t have mana, he instead has a Rage bar. Attacks generate Fury, which is gained faster when under 50% health. When you step out of combat, Fury dissipates every second. When Renekton casts an ability with 50 Fury or more, he consumes that Fury to enhance the next ability.

This is the most important part of Renekton’s Kit. It makes him really strong as he doesn’t need to worry about consuming mana when using his abilities. Just keep an eye on your Rage bar (under health) so you know when you have enough Fury to enhance your abilities.

(Skill 1) Cull The Meek

Renekton spins in a circle dealing physical damage to nearby enemies, generating fury and healing per enemy hit. Reign of Anger – Damage increases and healing is tripled.

Cull the Meek is amazing for sustaining in the laning phase as this works on minions as well. When you jump in to fight the enemy, if you get low you can stack up 50 Fury and use your Cull the Meek on minions to heal up a lot and stay in the fight.

Also works really well if you are in a big team fight, as if you are low and have loads of champion surrounding you, you can use the ability to heal a lot and stay in the fight.

(Skill 2) Ruthless Predator

Empowers the next attack to strike twice, stunning for just under a second and dealing physical damage. Reign of Anger – Strikes 3 times, stunning for longer and dealing even more physical damage.

When using Ruthless Predator, most of the time you want to make sure you have more than 50 Fury. Not only do you strike 3 times which works really well with the Blade of the Ruined King and Black Cleaver, but also you stun the target for longer allowing the rest of your team to follow up and help kill the enemy.

Ruthless Predator is most effective during the early game to get an advantage in the lane, as it does a lot of damage and you can follow it up with more auto attacks and other abilities whilst the enemy is stunned.

(Skill 3) Slice and Dice

Dash in a direction, dealing physical damage and generating Fury for each enemy passed through. Hitting an enemy grans a second dash to cast within a few seconds. Reign of Anger – The second dash deals more damage and shreds armor for a few seconds.

It is crucial to make sure you hit an enemy when using this ability. This works on monsters, minions and of course champions. This allows you to dash again, so if you need to chase down the enemy or want to dash away to create a bigger distance, it can be done.

The best combo to do is Slice into the enemy using Ruthless Predator, auto-attack and then dash back out. It’s a great way to get some nice free damage off on the enemy during the laning phase.

(Ultimate) Dominus

Gain Fury and health for 15 seconds. Every second after casting, you gain Fury and deal magic damage to nearby enemies. It’s important to use Dominus at the start of every fight.

Being able to get Fury and health straight away will help a lot when going in to fight the enemy team. Also gaining Fury every second is really important as you can get multiple enhanced abilities off during a single team fight with your Dominus activated.
