How to counter Milio ?

Tip 1: Be careful of his normal attacks.
Good Milio players, especially if they have aery on, would probably be using their normal attacks + their passive a lot to try poke early game.
When playing as a mele champion vs Milio you need to be careful of your positioning and not take unnecessary damage.
If you are in no position to play aggressively, don’t play too forward.
Use bushes to your advantage and buy lens to remove wards.
Tip 2: Play around his Ultra Mega Fire Kick (skill 1).
Milio’s only defensive skill is his skill 1. Try to go all in when Milio misses his skill 1. Milio won’t be able to counter or help when he misses his skill 1. Milio’s skill 1 has a long cooldown in the early game.
Tip 3: Fight in open areas.
Avoid fighting in tight areas like the jungle or around objectives. Tight areas will usually force both teams to be grouped up and Milio excels. Milio’ skill 2 is AOE healing + additional attack damage. Tight areas give Milio a better chance to help his entire team.
Tip 4: Focus target Milio.
If the opponent team is grouped up, try to aim for Milio first. Milio can provide a lot of utility to his team but can’t really do a lot if he’s alone. Remember that if Milio gets CC’d he won’t be able to use his ultimate. Chain your CC skills to kill Milio.
Tip 5: Take advantage of Milio’s weak level 2.
Hook champions and all-in champions that has a level 2 power-spike can kill Milio if you get to level 2 first. Take advantage of Milio’s weak lvl 2, you’ll most likely going to win.
